Matthew Thomas has over 25 years of experience leading medical device businesses, with expertise in strategy, business development, marketing, product development, and sales. Most recently as VP Sales for Mizuho OSI. Â Previously, as chief commercial officer at Cerapedics, he led transformative growth, increasing world-wide revenue growth by a CAGR of 40%.

Before joining Cerapedics in 2020, Matt held key leadership roles at Medtronic as a business unit general manager and vice-president, where he revitalized the Spinal Cord Stimulation & Early Interventions pain division and spearheaded a successful turnaround of the Kyphon interventional spine business. During his tenure at Medtronic, which began in 2002, he also led marketing, medical education, and market development across spine, diabetes, and deep brain stimulation.

Earlier in his career, Matt served as a product manager at Sonic Innovations (IPO in 2000) and founded and sold HyperX, a healthcare data services company. He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, a BS in Economics from the University of Utah, and studied at Johns Hopkins University.Â
