Marla C. Miller, JD, LLM

Marla received her undergraduate degree from McNeese State University, J.D. from Baylor University Law School and LL.M. in Taxation from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago. 

Marla began her professional career as a tax legal consultant with ‘Big-Four’ advisory firms in Washington, D.C. and Canada where she focused on federal and internal taxation and continued her career in various in-house corporate tax counsel roles with global publicly traded companies.  Throughout her career, she has been responsible for developing and implementing strategies for companies to maintain compliance while maximizing profitability and tax savings.  Marla has experience in the areas of tax legal advice and opinions on business matters, entity formation and structuring, operational agreements, financing agreements, mergers and acquisitions including the sale or purchase of business assets,  and civil litigation.
