Can I drive with stimulation on?

Answer

The concern for driving during spinal cord stimulation is due to the risk of driver distraction if the intensity of stimulation changes abruptly. This is of particular concern with paresthesia-based stimulation paradigms which are more prone to causing noxious stimulation with changes of body position. Wavegate's Ellipse system with StimuLux technology automatically adjusts stimulation intensity to minimize positional changes in stimulation.
